Revival is change. Revival is something that starts with me. Revival is something that starts with you.
Revival is uncomfortable. We need uncomfortable. I need uncomfortable. Revival will wreck you. It will wreck your church and even your city. You will be ruined. Never again to be able to tolerate an average life. Revival will punch you in the face. It will sucker punch the sin right out of your life.
There are hearts in every church that are cold, hard, bitter, and callous. These same hearts are crying out for revival. For a move of Jesus like our generation has never seen.
Why do we need change? Why does America need change?
Because I need change. My thoughts. My heart. My plans. My desires. My actions. My relationships. My passions. MY LIFE.....NEED CHANGE.
I'm tired of compromising. Compromising is causing the church to lose ground. We should be taking ground. Culture should be following us but instead we are following culture.
Revival is more than change though. Revival is LIFE. Life more abundant. Revival has everything to do with life.
It's about prayer. Prayer for revival. When we pray for revival, we are praying for change. We are praying for life more abundant. Revival begins in the person praying. For revival to take place in my church and in my city, it first begins in me.
Prayer changes the person praying. Prayer will cause us to understand that outside of God showing up, our lives won't change, our churches won't change, and our cities won't change.
We as believers need this. Our churches need this. Our cities need this. Our countries need this. And our world needs this.
When revival comes, and it will. It will come with force. The force of God himself. This force will cause the hard heart to break. Our hearts need to be broken. So they can be put back together by the creator. A healed heart will hunger for Jesus and passionately desire to be a disciple of Christ.
It's time. It's past time. Pray for revival and let it begin in you. Let it begin in our homes.
Let it begin.
